What does Sandalure 18 smell like?

Three stages. Dry cinnamon and nutmeg open — warm, not sweet. Geranium Bourbon and clove follow — the note most people notice without being able to name it. Sandalwood, aged patchouli, and dry Madagascar vanilla close. The base settles deeply and stays in the room for an hour or more after the flame is out.

Is it sweet? Does the vanilla read as dessert?

No. The vanilla in Sandalure 18 is dry and low in the blend — underneath the sandalwood and patchouli rather than on top of them. It adds depth, not sweetness. If you find most vanilla candles too gourmand, Sandalure 18 is a different kind of vanilla.

Are concrete candle vessels safe to burn?

Yes. Heat-stable and designed for repeated burns. The concrete distributes heat more evenly than glass, which protects the surface beneath and supports a steady burn.

How do you clean and reuse a concrete candle vessel?

Clean it with boiling water — the remaining wax floats free as it cools. The vessel is then yours. The warm gray-brown tone fits most rooms without trying.

Candle Care

First burn: allow the wax pool to reach the edges before extinguishing — 2 to 3 hours. This prevents tunneling.
Trim the wick to ¼ inch (6mm) before each burn
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
Extinguish with a snuffer, not by blowing
Keep away from drafts, direct sunlight, and heat sources
To clean the vessel after the final burn: add boiling water, let the remaining wax float to the surface, remove when cooled
