The vessel is hand-cast concrete. It is heavy
by design, heat-stable, and built to outlast the candle.
After the final burn, it stays.

sessions of 2–3 hours, wick trimmed to ¼ inch
before each burn, kept away from drafts.
The first burn matters most. Allow the wax
to reach a full melt pool — approximately 2–3 hours.
This sets the character of every burn that follows.

After the final burn, remove remaining wax
with warm water. The vessel works as a planter,
a desk object, a catch-all, or simply stays
where it is. The concrete does not degrade.
It does not need a purpose to justify staying.

To ensure your Stān dle candle burns beautifully and lasts longer, follow these simple care tips:

1. First Burn Matters: Allow the wax to melt evenly to the edges during the first burn to prevent tunneling. This sets the foundation for an even burn throughout the candle’s life.
2. Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to ¼ inch to maintain a steady flame and minimize soot. This ensures a clean, efficient burn.
3. Burn Time: Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This prevents overheating and helps preserve the candle’s fragrance and structure.
4. Placement: Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface and keep it away from drafts, which can cause uneven burning or flare-ups.
5. Extinguishing Safely: To extinguish the flame, use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax. This reduces smoke and prevents the wick from drifting.
6. Final Burn: For safety and longevity, stop burning your candle when only ½ inch of wax remains. This prevents overheating and ensures the vessel can be reused.
7. Repurpose the Vessel: Once the candle is finished, clean out the vessel and give it a second life. Use it as a planter, a decorative container, or a keepsake holder to extend its purpose.
