FAQ

Lavendure 21

Key Notes

Lavender, a key ingredient in Lavendure 21, contributing a calming and aromatic floral note to the fragrance

Lavender

Heart Note — Lavandula angustifolia

True lavender, not lavandin. The distinction matters: Lavandula angustifolia is grown at higher altitudes, producing an oil that is creamy and herbal rather than sharp or medicinal. It is the longest-staying note in the heart layer — the one most people identify as "the scent." Not sleep-inducing, not sweet. Herbal and grounded.

Scent character: Herbal · Creamy · Cool

Eucalyptus, one of the natural ingredients in Lavendure 21, bringing a refreshing and invigorating aroma to the fragrance

Orange

Heart Note

Cool, camphoraceous, expansive. Eucalyptus does not fill a room — it opens one. The effect is immediate: the air feels like there is more of it. Paired with lavender, it keeps the fragrance from reading as soft or purely floral. This is the note that makes the room feel different before you notice why.

Scent character: Cool · Herbal · Room-expanding

Oakmoss, contributing a fresh and earthy element to the natural essence of Lavendure 21

Amber

Base Note — Oakmoss Absolute

The smell of a forest floor after rain: damp earth, bark, mineral soil. Oakmoss absolute is one of the oldest fragrance ingredients in perfumery, and one of the hardest to replicate. In Lavendure 21, it pairs with warm amber in the base layer — the quiet that arrives in the final hours and stays after the flame is out. Not heavy. Persistent.

Scent character: Earthy · Mineral · Unhurried

Sandalure 18

Key Notes

Close-up of sandalwood sticks, highlighting the warm, woody essence found in Sandalure 18

Sandalwood

Base Note

Smooth, creamy, and woody — sandalwood is neither sharp nor sweet. It reads as warm rather than dark, and present rather than heavy. It is the anchor of Sandalure 18: the note that stays the longest, and the one that deepens with each subsequent burn. First burn establishes it. By the second and third, the room holds it differently.

Scent character: Smooth · Woody · Long-lasting

Aged Patchouli

Base Note

Not the raw version. Aged patchouli is smoother, drier, and more nuanced — the sharp edges of fresh patchouli are gone, replaced by an earthy depth that supports rather than dominates. In Sandalure 18, it grounds the sandalwood base and keeps the vanilla from reading as purely sweet. The note you sense rather than smell.

Scent character: Earthy · Dry · Grounding

vanilla

Base Note — Bourbon Vanilla, Madagascar

Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar is not the synthetic vanilla of most candles. It is warm and dry — closer to the bean than the extract, and far from anything sugary. In Sandalure 18, it closes the arc: the final layer after the spice has opened and the geranium has settled. What remains is warmth without weight.

Scent character: Warm · Dry · Unhurried
